Commander!
Two of the most rigid tanks in the game are taking over the Premium Shop this weekend. The French
VIII
Somua SM
and the Chinese
VIII
122 TM
represent vastly different philosophies of tank building. But together, they make up a resilient team that's not afraid to take on enemies from sunrise to sunset.

The
VIII
122 TM
is surprisingly well-armored and one of the toughest Tier VIII medium tanks in the game. It's not an easy beast to tame, but is a trusted companion on the battlefield once you know how to handle its strength—a strength that mostly lies in its powerful and very accurate 120 mm gun. Use the 8 degrees of gun depression to peek over hills and take out opponents from a distance. Its fast-flying shells can reliably slice through 233 mm of enemy armor to cause a hefty 400 HP blow.
This is the first time since the Lunar Challenge that this mighty ox can be spotted out in the wild, so don’t miss out!
While its Chinese friend prefers to keep a distance, the French
VIII
Somua SM
likes to look its enemies in the eyes. The armor is not the thickest, but it's good enough to take a beating if an opponent lands a shot before being blown away by a hailstorm of shells. The Somua SM carries a fast-firing 5-clip autoloader with the potential to cause 1,500 HP of damage in just nine seconds. Pair this with excellent gun depression angles, high penetration, and a quick reload time, and you have a fighter that won’t flinch, no matter how big the opponent might be.
