Extra History: Battle of Saipan (Part 1)

Forever in the shadow of the great Overlord Operation, the Battle of Saipan was launched 24 hours before D-Day. Its objective? You guessed it: Saipan, an island from which the Americans could launch airstrikes against Japan. We have asked our friends from Extra Credits to tell us the story of this decisive yet sorrowful battle.
