Commanders,
We are pleased to announce the first Wargaming Costume Contest, which will be taking place at gamescom this year! Take to the stage in your finest tank commander or warplane pilot outfit and stand the chance to win some great prizes!
The contest will be taking place at the Wargaming Stand at gamescom in Cologne, Germany on Sunday August 19th at 15:30 CEST.
Rules:
- All uniforms and costumes entered must be related to World of Tanks or World of Warplanes.
- The use of obscene, racist or sexist imagery is not allowed. Neither is anything that glorifies violence. Anyone not meeting these rules will be disqualified. Please also note that Germany has very strict laws on the wearing of certain uniforms and political symbols, so please abstain from any costumes/costume elements related to Nazism and other offensive ideology from this time period. Anyone entering anything of this kind will also be disqualified. Please ask on the forum or at the Wargaming stand in advance if you have any questions about this policy.
- Participants must either be over the age of 18 before 17th August 2012 or must have a parent in attendance, or written permission from a parent in order to take part.
- Judging will be via audience appreciation. The audience will be invited to clap for the costume they like the most.
Prizes:
There are a number of prizes up for grabs! These include:
- Pictures and t-shirts signed by Wargaming staff.
- Logitech and Razer products.
In addition, every person who takes part will receive a t-shirt and a unique in-game tank!
