It’s the holiday season and it’s time to show what you can do with just the game client, your friends, your tanks and your creativity!
The Challenge! To create a holiday message using a screenshot or video of you and your friends in a Training Room using a winter map.
Go nuts! It can be anything, for example: take screenshots of your tanks arranged as letters and put them together to write us a holiday message. Or if you’re feeling brave try to arrange the tanks to make the shape of a tree or star or anything related to the holidays. If you are a video wiz there is also a YouTube category. If you and your friends can make your tanks dance to holiday music, that would really be something amazing.
The most creative entries will win a bunch of gold. There is an Image category and a YouTube video category. Get together with as many friends as possible! You can only enter the contest if there are 7-15 people in the image/video. To participate in this contest, follow the instructions below. There are 2 categories, [Image] and [YouTube].
For the image category:
- The image must be at least 1280x720 pixels. The image or video must be from World of Tanks in-game without any mods.
- The image can be a combination of in-game screenshots and added visual effects or text that you can make with an image editing program. This basically means you can go nuts, but the main thing has to be the in-game screenshot from the training room showing you and your friends.
- Sent your image submissions to contests_eu@wargaming.net before December 23rd with this text in the subject of the email: [CreativeWinterContest][Image]. This is really important. If it’s not written like this it will be lost.
- In the email include the in-game name of your friends that are in the image and let us know who put the image together, as that person would get more gold.
For the YouTube category:
- Your video must be at least 480p in quality
- The video needs to include in-game footage captured from your games in the training room
- Upload your video to YouTube.
- Sent your YouTube submissions to contests_eu@wargaming.net before December 23rd with this text in the subject of the email: [CreativeWinterContest][YouTube]. This is really important. If it’s not written like this it will be lost.
- In the email include the link to your YouTube video. (The video can be unlisted if you don’t want it to be public).
- Also in the email, include the in-game name of your friends that are in the image and let us know who put the video together, as that person would get more gold.
By sending us your image or video submissions, you agree that the material might be used by Wargaming.net. Also remember to respect the rules of our EULA and TOS. If you use any music, please make sure it’s not copyrighted or that it’s under fair use. We might choose the best entries and share them with everyone!
Prizes
Image Category:
- 1st Place: 2000 gold for each player in the image (double for the image creator)
- 2nd place: 1500 gold for each player in the image (double for the image creator)
- 3rd Place: 1000 gold for each player in the image (double for the image creator)
YouTube Category:
- 1st Place: 4000 gold for each player in the image (double for the video creator)
- 2nd place: 3000 gold for each player in the image (double for the video creator)
- 3rd Place: 2000 gold for each player in the image (double for the video creator)
